Whats new with D.Y.P.  New 14-17 After School Club Every Thursday 3 - 5pm Starting 3rd November 2011 New Events coming up (see calendar for details)  Chocolate Night 21st October, 7 - 9pm  Karaoke Night 25th October, 7 - 9pm  Games Night 27th October, 7 - 9pm Summer Programme  The DYP summer programme is out and packed with fun stuff. Mini Moto Race Day on 28th July There is another Mini Moto Race Day at the Kings Lynn Arena on Thursday 28th July, it is a free event but participants must register with the event organisors before the day to be able to race. Click here to download a registration form. DISCO's @ The Youth Hut  For 11 - 14's we are going to be running three Disco's this term on Friday 27th May, 17th June and 22nd July. These will be ticket events with limited spaces. Tickets are just £1.50 and help cover event costs. There will be lots of music, dancing and fun, a tuck shop with drinks and food will also be available. Newspaper stories! We are recycling CD's, DVD's, printer cartridges and mobile phones and at the same time raising funds for the project to do more with young people. (see support tab for more info) Youth Cafe now open!!! See poster! ---->  Downham Youth Project (DYP) is based in Downham Market, Norfolk, and is a charitable project that works with the young people in the town. We aim to offer support and encouragement to the fantastic young people of Downham, and offer opportunites to enjoy positive activities within their local community. Our work includes weekly detached work (street based), youth cafe, and schools work. As well as this we also run smaller projects like the graffiti wall and mini moto projects with the local young people. Our work is supported in a variety of ways including Downham Market Town Council, Downham Market Methodist Church, and individuals giving of their time and money. New Pics!
